Can we talk about the weather?
“The Beatles meets Simon & Garfunkel meets Scissor Sisters meets Bon Iver meets Mumford & Sons meets Serious Child meets Andy Ruddy”
Serious Child & Andy Ruddy are songwriters from different generations and backgrounds who have set out to explore and celebrate what brings people together in modern acoustic music.
What started as an idea in the green room of Petfringe two years ago, their collaborative project Talk About The Weather has led to an acclaimed album and music videos, numerous radio and TV appearances and a national tour.
By bringing together two very different world views and listening to each other, these singers have created a memorable set of songs and films that are both timeless and of the moment. In performance, their friendship and positive outlook are just as enjoyable as the music.
Martha St Arthur
If country music’s all about life inside America, Martha St. Arthur’s modern Westerns are all about life outside it.
Martha recently released her debut album, Greatest Hits; a mix of kick ass and confessional songs that get right to the point. Direct, powerful and committed, she is most definitely “one to watch”.
