A New Leconfield Hall

The Upstairs Auditorium at Leconfield Hall has been transformed. Now equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system and projector we now have the capability to bring New Release blockbusters to Petworth. Other improvements include a new air conditioning and ventilation system so the audience can be comfortable all year around and a larger, tidier and better equipped stage.

The programme for the Auditorium will include films and live broadcasts from the Royal Opera House and other national and international venues. There will be regular live music and performances and a programme of activities specially aimed at young people.

Updates on the programme will be shared through our mailing list, via our Social Media channels and on posters and fliers that you will be able to pick up around town.

Everyone Welcome

Documentary evidence, such as it is, leads to the assumption that the Leconfield Hall we now see was built in 1793 on the same site as the timber framed building which preceded it…
